SOURDOUGH RURAL FIRE DISTRICT
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
October 5, 2003

The notice of the special meeting was properly noticed by posting on the door of the south building on the morning of October 4, 2003.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Kraft at 7:45 PM with all trustee and Chief Crandell present.

The trustees were briefed by Chief Crandell on the assembly and purchase contract with Montana Fire Works for the new Engine #7. Bills for the balance to completion of this pumper were presented. This final payment totals about $17,000.

Larimer moved for payment to Montana Fire Works through the following check(s) numbers: 4410 through 4417; Dayhuff seconded. Passed.

The truck will be available to be viewed at the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday October 11.

Chief Crandell said that the Creston, Montana Fire Department had come to Bozeman and inspected the truck for sale ("old" Number 7) and have accepted the purchase price of $125,000. Once the new truck is delivered and commissioned into service, the trustees will be asked to approve the sale. No further action was taken.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM.
