SOURDOUGH RURAL FIRE DISTRICT MINUTES

The Regular Meeting of the Sourdough Rural Fire District at the South 3 rd Fire Station was called to order by Chairman Kraft at 7:55 P.M. on January 16, 2006. All trustees were present. Also present were COC Rose , Medial Consultant Carlson and Chief Crandell.

 

Agenda Review: The Community Outreach Report will be given after Minutes.

 

Consent Agenda: -- Financial report: The Financial Report was presented. Pete moved and Steve seconded to approval of the report and warrants cited > $500 for signature. Passed without objection.

 

Regular Agenda:

 

  • December Minutes were presented. Pete moved and Randy seconded for approval. Passed without objection.
  • Community Outreach Report: Chief Crandell will present a program on disaster preparedness to c. 135 Noon Rotary members on 1/17.
  • Chief’s Report: Included in the record. Run report delayed due to computer crash. Staff requests that the Trustees discuss the District’s approach to fire protection for subdivisions and a policy matter.
  • Service Assessment: A work session on January 31, to develop district needs and resources to meet those needs, will noticed in the BDC. A rendering of 3 rd station construction and development of informational video will be presented.
  • Governance Policy, Chief’s Evaluation: Conclusion of Executive Session was presented. The Trustees determined that Chief Crandell continues to attain the stated goals and adheres to the Executive limitations, imposed by the Trustees.

 

Unfinished Business:

 

  • Rae/Sourdough – Interlocal Agreement. The Rae Board will soon ratify the agreement.
  • It was noted that the trustees must pass a resolution calling for a Trustee Election. A special meeting will be held prior to the Work Session for this purpose, on January 31, 2006, and will be so noticed in the BDC.

 

There being no further business, or announcements, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
