SOURDOUGH RURAL FIRE DISTRICT MINUTES A special meeting of the Sourdough Rural Fire District was held on August 11, 2003 at the Fire Station for the purpose of reviewing and approving the 2004 SFD budget. The meeting was called to order at 1210 hours. All Trustees were present, as was Chief Crandell. Trustee Geddes presented notice from the County: "Determination of Tax Revenue and Mill Levy Limitations Under Section 15-10-420, MCA". Chief Crandell presented: Sourdough Rural Fire District Fiscal Year 2004 Budget Notes (08/11/03)" Both documents were discussed, and placed in the record. Tax Revenue from Mill Levy computation as shown will be $287,139. Expenditures will be as follows: 1) Apparatus/Facilities $145,000 (plus $8689 for 1/2 command vehicle
with Rae FD.) Total: $287,139. Budget Resolution 2003-8-11a: Expenditures, and Budget Resolution 2003-8-11b: Revenue were Motioned for approval by Trustee Geddes and Seconded by Trustee Larimer. Passed and signed by the Trustees. Geddes will transmit to Ed Blackman, Gallatin County Fiscal Officer this afternoon prior to the 4 PM submission deadline. Geddes will also write the County Commission with copy to the County Attorney to ask why the mills dropped from 38.00 as authorized by the voters to 37.50 as used by the County for revenue calculations.
